Passion in the Temple

Jesus berates the wrongdoing in the Temple by the sellers and the money changers by ordering the sellers out and overturning the tables of the money changers while admonishing them that this is a Temple, not a marketplace.

The new desciples are exposed to His stunning works as they move from city to city very early In their experience of following Jesus whose pace tires Him causing him to need refreshing solitude, prayer and rest.

Mark the First Chapter tells the story of Jesus teaching in the synagog with authority that no one has seen before. He calls the unclean spirit out of a possessed man. We need to learn from this that we too need to call out eveil where we see in in our daily lives and learn to deal and cope with it..

What Is Missing

Mark the First Chapter tells of of the willingness to drop everything and leave life behind to follow Jesus by four brothers, the first of the desciples. We too need to allow our faith to take us through life as true believers and followers of Jesus' teaching. That faith and courage can be difficult or even missing at times.
